We would like to announce that moving forward, our company name has change from Downey, Plumbing, Heating and Air, to Downey Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Co. For over 80 years Downey Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Co. has been serving the Orange and Los Angeles counties. We continue to offer our community competitive pricing, caring customer service, and quality work backed by experience technicians who are invested in continued education and training. We may have been around for 80 years, but we are still at the forefront of our craft.
History Behind Our Name
Downey Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Co., has seen some name changes over the years. Originally, when the company opened over 80 years ago, we started as a plumbing company simply known as Downey Plumbing Co.
Soon after, the business expanded to include heating services. At that time air conditioning had not been invented yet.
Since the invention of Air Conditioning, we have been offering plumbing, heating, and air conditioning to our community with excellence. Air conditioning simply used to be referred to as “cooling” “Air” or “AC”, but with the advent of air filtration and the acknowledgement of the health benefits of AC, it is now more commonly known as “Air Conditioning.”
So, with that lengthy history, we would like to formally announce that moving forward, our company name has changed from Downey, Plumbing, Heating and Air, to Downey Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Co. Our goal has always been to provide our customers with knowledgeable, reliable, and affordable service. We look forward to serving you with a smile, just as we have for the last 80 years.
